OMG the books by Sherrie Hansen are awesome!!!!!

I am currently reading Water Lily by Sherrie Hansen and I cannot put it down.  Her characters are so real and heartwarming you just want everything to turn out for them.  This is the second in a series and the first one, Stormy Weather, was just as awesome.  You will love these books.  I hear that a 3rd book is in the works.

All of Sherrie’s books are available at Barnhills in Winston-Salem.

Water Lily by Sherrie Hansen
Once upon a very long time ago, Jake Sheffield and Michelle Jones graduated from the same high school. Jake can’t wait to take a trip down memory lane at their 20th class reunion. Being with his old friends is like guest starring in a favorite episode of Cheers. Everybody knows your name. Everybody’s glad you came.
The last thing Michelle wants to do is dredge up a lot of old memories and relive a part of her past that wasn’t that great in the first place.  Will the murky waters of the past destroy their dreams for the future, or will a
water lily rise from the depths and bloom?

Can you believe it has almost been a year?????

It really seems like just yesterday that we were all frantically trying to get everything ready to open the store.  I still remember all the delays involved in getting all the permits just to open the doors.  I hate red tape!!!!!

I want to thank everyone for their support over the past year and hope that you will continue to bless us with your support in the future.  With so many businesses failing (even the big guys like Borders), it makes it that much more meaningful when your community and friends rally around you to help you succeed.  It hasn’t been easy, although nothing worth having is every easy to come by.

Now about the PARTY!!!!!!!  We have so many things planned for the week of March 29 through April 3rd.

We will be having a different vineyard in the store EVERYDAY offering FREE tastings of their fabulous wines.  More details later.

We will be having several authors in the store throughout the week.  More details later.

On Sat & Sun, Laz Barnhill will be here drawing caricatures to benefit the iCan House.  April is National Autism Awareness Month.

Of course we will be giving away a lot of stuff.  At present, we have Free Tastings for 2 at 14 different wineries to give away via daily drawings.  We will have a drawing for a huge gift basket.  There will be GWP everyday for the whole week and you get to choose your own free gift.   There will also be daily unadvertised specials.

Check out the website for all the details now and I will also give more info as we get closer to the date.

Again, thank you so much for all your support. We are looking forward to an exciting 2nd year.
